HOUSEKEEPING
  • It was nice seeing everyone on this Zoom meeting. We even heard from Dean! Maybe next week we will even see him.
  • Charlie shared another Zoom blooper - don't let that happen to you!
Membership Update
  • No updates this week
General Topics
  • Charlie attended the Rotary International seminar and will send us the 13-minute video so we can learn more about that.
  • We have 2 speakers lined up for 2 of our upcoming meetings.
  • The Grant Committee continues work on the India hospital dialysis project. Victor has been in contact with Rotary members in India and things are moving along. Louise reviewed a lot of the details with us. They are gathering information to finish the application, which will be submitted to the board once completed.
  • Rotary International will hold a Virtual Convention at the end of June. Stay tuned for more information and details.
  • Johnny suggested we get local artists, maybe from the high school, to decorate the Flower Boxes perhaps for next year. Great suggestion! The Board will consider it.
  • We went around the Zoom Room and each of us took a few minutes to talk about what is happening in our lives these days. It was a delightful substitute for Happy and Sad Dollars. Thanks to Cynthia for the suggestion!
